Torque and Fastening Tips
- Pump bolts should be tightened to approximately 7 Nm. If you don't have a torque tool, apply firm hand pressure — tight, but not forced.
- For Torx screws in chassis components, tighten lightly by hand only. Do not apply force. Over-tightening may strip the plastic threads.
- If using a power screwdriver, start with torque setting 2 or max 3, and increase one level at a time if needed.
- Tip: If plastic threads are damaged, insert a small plastic strip (e.g. from a cable tie) into the hole to help the screw grip securely.
Notes
- Always unplug the machine and release pressure before starting any service.
- Always follow the official AVA repair guides if available.
- Optional tools are not required but can make the job safer or easier.
Using the right tools will make your maintenance more efficient and extend the life of your AVA product.
