Water supply requirements for a AVA pressure washers

Garden hose: The pressure washer requires a garden hose with a minimum length of 7.5 meters. The Aquastop function cannot be used.

Water consumption: A single-phase pressure washer consumes between 300-700 liters of water per hour. A regular garden hose with normal pressure typically supplies more than enough water to meet this requirement.

Water consumption by model: Different AVA models have varying water consumption, as indicated in the table.

• Example: For an AVA P80, it takes about 60 seconds to empty a standard 10-liter bucket.

Hose diameter: A standard garden hose is usually ½” (12 mm) in diameter, which typically provides sufficient water. If the water pressure is particularly low, the pressure washer may work for a while but may then run out of water. Releasing the trigger and pressing it again allows you to spray for a short period before running out again.

Solution for low pressure: If repeatedly releasing and pressing the trigger becomes inefficient, you can use a bucket or container as a water buffer. Place the garden hose in the bucket and connect a suction hose from the bucket to the pressure washer.

Thicker hose: A thicker hose can provide a larger water reserve but does not increase the plumbing system’s capacity.

Maximum inlet pressure: Our pressure washers should not have more than 7 bar of inlet pressure. Most homes with pressure higher than 6 bar have a reduction valve, partly because washing machines and dishwashers have a maximum limit of 6.4 bar.
