AVA Pressure Washer Warranty
Warranty for AVA Pressure Washers
At AVA of Norway, we are committed to ensuring our products last as long as possible. Therefore, we offer a consumer warranty of up to 20 years without costly service agreements. To take advantage of our extended warranty, the purchase must be registered within 6 months after purchase and pump service must be performed every 5 years.

Who is the warranty for?
The warranty applies to consumers. It does not apply to business purchases or professional use. Click here to read more about the difference between private and professional use.
How does AVA's extended warranty work?
To take advantage of our extended warranty, you as the owner must register the machine within 6 months after purchase (click here to register your machine). To do this, you need the article number, serial number, and proof of purchase. Pump service must also be performed at 5, 10, and 15 years to extend the warranty with a new five-year period. Service kits for this are purchased separately. Read more about performing service yourself further down on the page.
Regardless of whether you register for AVA's extended warranty or not, you have a 5-year complaint period under the Consumer Purchase Act.
What is not covered?
The warranty covers a wide range of components, but there are, of course, limitations. It requires, among other things, that you maintain the machine and store it properly. If the problem can be repaired using the AVA First Aid Kit, it is not considered a warranty claim.
Additional examples of what the warranty does not cover:
- Damage or problems resulting from frost (read more about what to do if your pressure washer has been exposed to frost here)
- Damage or problems resulting from external influences
- User error
- Possibly additional examples of typical faults that are not covered
Accessories have a 2-year warranty/5-year complaint period. This also includes the hose on the drum, regardless of whether it is purchased separately or came with the machine.
You can find the complete terms and conditions here.
Performing service yourself
Within 5 years:
The machines are designed so that you can easily replace worn parts and perform service yourself, and by doing so, you are rewarded with 5 new years of warranty. Within 5 years of purchase or the last pump service, you must perform a new service to extend the warranty with a new 5-year period.
GO, Easy, Smart, and V6 have up to a 10-year warranty, which means that for these series, service must be performed at least once. For Master, Master 2.0, and Evolution, which have up to a 20-year warranty, service must be performed at least three times. We recommend that you continue to perform service at least every five years, even after the warranty period has expired.
How do you perform service yourself?
We have step-by-step guides, an online store with spare parts, as well as illustrations so that you have the opportunity to perform service yourself—even if you have been unfortunate and suffered frost damage or something else. Remember that performing the repair yourself does not affect your warranty. You can still easily decide whether you want to do the job yourself or if the machine should be sent to a service center.
• Order the parts to be replaced here. Remember to choose parts that fit your pressure washer and are based on the service needs. Keep in mind that our products are continuously under development, so we recommend that service kits be purchased as service approaches.
• Follow our step-by-step guides.
• Register the completed pump service here, and you will have extended your warranty with 5 new years.

Been unlucky?
Sometimes things don't go as planned, and perhaps you need a pump service after 3 or 7 years. In that case, perform the necessary service, and we will extend your warranty by five new years from the day you register the completed work. Remember to have a new pump service performed within 5 years, up until a total of 10/20 years is reached.
