Evolution: Replace handle

Safety first! To prevent any accidents, ensure that your pressure washer is turned off and unplugged from its power source.

With this step-by-step guide, learn how to easily replace the handle on your Evolution pressure washer. You only need Torx 25 and one flathead screwdriver, or similar tools.

1. Remove screws

Use torx T25 to unscrew screw a) and b).

2. Replace the top handle, or proceed to step 3 to replace the entire kit

3. Disconnect internal hose

a)Use a flathead screwdriver or similar, to tilt out the U-pin.


b)Pull the internal house out of the reel.

4. Put the reel in unlock position

Lift the old reel and replace it with a new reel.

5. Lift up reel

Lift up the reel.

6. Replace pipe

  1. Remove 3 x T-25 screws
  2. Pull out old pipe and reinstall new pipe
  3. Rescrew the 3 T-25 screws

7. Put reel onto pipe

8. Replace handle

1. Rescrew screws

Use torx T25 to rescrew screw a) and b).
