• The product is purchased under a business name.

• The product is regularly used at business premises.

• The value-added tax (VAT) for the purchase is deducted in the accounting records.

• The product is used in a condominium association or housing cooperative.

• The product is systematically rented or loaned out to different users.

• The machine is used more than 50 hours annually, which exceeds the EU’s definition of high usage in households.

• In B2B (business-to-business) sales, consumer purchase laws or AVA’s consumer warranty do not apply. Our 10 or 20-year consumer warranty is only valid for private consumers.

The use or purchase of our products is considered professional (Pro) under the following circumstances:

AVA only manufactures machines intended for the consumer market. Our pressure washers are designed for private use and are defined by the EU as suitable for normal high use in the home. They are not intended for professional use, rental, or similar activities.

Warranty in case of deviation from intended use:

The warranty often expires when a consumer product is used in a way that it is not intended for. This includes the use of AVA's consumer pressure washers in a work context, as they are not designed for this purpose.

AVA machines have an expected lifespan that is up to six times longer than average consumer machines. However, they do not withstand as much as industrial machines.

Machines with induction motors require less maintenance and reach service intervals when the pump ceases to function. For some, a 4- or 6-piston AVA machine may be a good alternative to industrial pumps, provided that one is willing to perform regular maintenance.

Annual service is normal for both professional and industrial machines, often at the same price as a new AVA machine.

We acknowledge that many use our consumer products in a work context.

3-piston machines (GO, Smart, and Easy):

• 1 month warranty, 12 months right to claim.
• The warranty does not cover user errors, frost damage, or wear and tear.
• If the first fault occurs within 1 month, AVA covers the costs, either through self-repair or sending to a workshop.
• In cases of repeated faults or suspicion of wear, the pressure washer must be sent to a workshop or a service kit can be purchased.
• Non-Profit Spare Parts policy applies.
• Machines older than 12 months are treated as payable cases at the workshop.
• The maximum price at the workshop does not apply.
• Accessories older than 1 month are not covered by the warranty.
• Accessories have a 1-month warranty (50% discount on accessories with the first purchase within 12 months).

4- and 6-piston machines (Evolution, Master, and V6):

• 12-month warranty.
• The warranty does not cover user errors, frost damage, or worn parts.
• If the first fault occurs within 3 months, AVA covers parts and labor.
• After three months, or in cases of repeated faults, the pressure washer must be sent to the workshop. The workshop assesses warranty and claim rights. Machines over 12 months old that are sent to the workshop are billed to the customer. Non-Profit Spare Parts policy applies.
• The maximum price at the workshop does not apply.
• Accessories: If the first fault occurs within 12 months, it is covered by warranty/claim. In cases of repeated faults, it is assessed by the workshop.
• 50% discount on accessories with the first purchase within 24 months.
• If a fault is assumed to be in the pump, a service kit can be sent free of charge and replaced by the customer. This is covered once within 12 months by the warranty. When sent to the workshop, it is determined whether the fault is covered by warranty/claim, or if the customer will be charged. This also applies to the machine's microswitch. If the machine is not covered by the warranty/claim and a repair is not desired, the machine can be returned, but the customer is billed for troubleshooting and shipping.
